We came upon our friends, brother and sister Loli and Antonio, dressed as Nazareno's for the procession.
By now it was getting very cold in the wind and starting to get dark and our thoughts went out to all those participating who will spend the next four or five hours walking around the streets of Olvera.
We have nothing but admiration and respect for everyone who has taken part in all the processions this week and for their hard work, dedication and devotion that they have all shown. We are privileged to have been here to watch it.
Footnote: I mentioned earlier that the procession would take five hours but I heard them return to the Church at 3.30 am this morning, seven hours after starting out. A truly tremendous effort in what must have been freezing conditions.
