What a brilliant night. We walked down last night to the indoor sports centre where a marquee was set up for the last night of the "8th Multicultural Event", celebrating the youth and culture of Olvera, organised by the Ayuntamiento of Olvera.
The event showcases activities such as drama, films, fashion, concerts, food, an art and photographic exhibition, food and live radio over a three day period.
The highlight for us was the appearance of the Flamenco group "La Sonanta" and they were absolutely fantastic, playing to a packed and very appreciative audience.
Backed by terrific guitar work and singers, the dancers really conveyed the passion of Flamenco.

A brilliant night. Unfortunately, tapas was calling so we left the event during the set being performed by "Swing del Barrio", a swing/fusion band with a great sound.
