Peppie 1995 - 2009

The purpose of starting this blog over two years ago was initially to let family and friends in the UK follow, not only how Anne and I were settling in to our new lives here in Spain but also our lovely old girl Peppie.

Three of us started out on this adventure but sadly yesterday Peppie's journey ended when she succumbed to old age and we reluctantly had to let her go and put her to sleep.

She was fourteen and a half and we loved her to bits and there's a big hole in our life where a dog used to be. As Anne would say "She's the bestest dog I've ever had".

So just a few pics of happier days, taken over recent years, in the garden, on holiday, out walking, that we would like to share with all of you who have kindly taken an interest in the blog and our lives here in lovely Olvera.

As dog lovers know, there's never a good time but there's a right time and sad though it is, we know we've done the right thing for Peppie.

Night, night my beautiful.

Alan and Anne: We are saddened over Peppie's passing, but it seems that she had a wonderful life with you. We regret that we did not have an opportunity to meet her. Russ & Bruce

Hi Alan & Anne, Very sad to hear your news about Peppie, she was a lovely little dog who we know will be greatly missed, on the bright side she was very fortunate to have spent her time here with you two who thought the world about her.
Thinking of you both

So sorry to hear the news. We know that you both loved her dearly and she was part of your family. We will miss seeing her out on her walk through the Plaza. You're in our thoughts. Ian & Laurie.
