The procession of the "Little Donkey".......the first event of this Semana Santa (Holy Week).After looking around the Church, we sat in the Plaza and waited for the procession to form up.
First to appear were the children of the town.
It wasn't long before the "Little Donkey" appeared from the front of the Church, carried on its paso (platform) by twenty four men of the village, known as "Cargodores" to start its journey around Olvera, returning to the Church in just over three hours time.
