On a wander around this morning, it seems like the campaign for the local elections on the 22nd May has started in earnest. Posters of the parties and candidates are all over town.
In no particular order are the candidates. Here the Partido Popular (Peoples Party) candidate, Eduardo Párraga.
The current mayor, Fernando Fernández of the Izquierda Unida (United Left) party, looking to gain another four years in office.
Remedios Palma of the PSOE (Partido Socialista Obrero Español) party.
This is the first time since moving here that we've been eligible to vote in the local elections so we're looking forward to receiving our ballot papers shortly and making our choice.
