Not a very exciting post today but just a few pics of the house before and after the tiling.
We had wanted this done since we moved in last July, the last thing on the "wishlist" to be done, as the old tiling was looking tired and dated. This is the house before any work had started.
First thing to do was to remove and replace some of the rendering and also replace the downpipe from the roof terrace, which had created a damp patch on the wall.
The picture right is the start of work on the door step. You may recall from a previous blog, this was the day Mike evicted us to Arcos.
After four days hard work, Mike had nearly finished and we were really pleased....as were our neighbours and passers by. The old house had been neglected for a few years and I think it was appreciated that we were making the effort to tart her up a bit.
Just the painting now.
