Today was the last day of the Carnaval. As there was so much to see and so many pictures, I have broken the blog into two........this one "The Gathering" showing the participants assembling for the procession and the next blog showing the procession.
After being entertained at the Pensioner's Club, we all gathered in the Plaza de Ayuntamiento at about 3pm to await the start of the parade.
The picture right is of the Carnaval Queen, with the green sash, and her attendants.
The picture of the clown below shows our neighbour Maricarmen, who we would not have recognised had it not been for her son Paco with his mop of hair.
