Here's something a bit different. I was walking home from the barber's this morning when on the pavement in front of me there was what looked like a roll of tape.
On closer inspection, not too close though as they are poisonous particularly to animals, was a long line of caterpillars. Looking around, there were several trails on both sides of the road.
I had read about these "Processionary caterpillars" on various forums but was quite surprised to see them here in Olvera.

The picture right shows a "bunch " of the lovely little things gathering to join the end of the procession.
