Pujerra

After leaving Igualeja, we drove for a further 4kms until we came to the village of Pujerra. (A map of our route here).

We parked and after studying the tiled Plano Urbano above, we began our stroll around the small pueblo.
The Ayuntamiento.

We found the Plaza de la Iglesia and the 16th century Iglesia del Espiritu Santo below.

The village was clearly well looked after, clean and tidy streets with plenty of seats for us oldies to take a rest.

We stopped for a drink in a pleasant plaza looking at the view towards the distant village of Cartajima below.

A lovely pueblo where clearly the 350 or so residents take a pride in their environment.
