Market day

A short trip this morning to the town of Algodonales, 16kms west of Olvera, to have a look at the market.
We parked just outside of the centre and soon found the busy market spread around several of the streets.

Plenty of stalls selling clothes, material, fruit, footwear plus many others.

After a while, we retired to the town square, always a pleasant place to sit down and enjoy a coffee and let time pass you by. We chose the Bar El Gallito, one of several Cafe-Bars that surround the square.
The Iglesia Parroquial de Santa Ana that dominates one end of the square.

On the way home, I stopped to take these couple of pictures of the "back end" of Olvera.
No matter from which direction Olvera is approached, it is difficult not to be impressed by the view of the castle and church which dominate the town.
