On a day of near non-stop heavy downpours, we took advantage this afternoon of a break in the rain to take Calcetines for a walk. However, within five minutes of leaving home the rain returned, leaving no option but to seek shelter.
We waited and waited for the rain to stop but after thirty minutes or so it was clear it wasn't going to. So nothing for it but to head home and dry off.
Looking on the bright side, the weather forecast from Monday onwards is non-stop sunshine. Fingers crossed.
