We have cause for a slightly premature double celebration today.
Firstly, in seven days time we celebrate two years of living in this lovely place, made all the more enjoyable by the lovely friends that we have made and the generosity and friendship shown by the people of Olvera. They are indeed "buena gente".....good people.
Our decision to start afresh and create a new life has certainly not always been a smooth ride but it has been, and continues to be, a fantastic adventure. There are so many places to see, people to meet and so much to do but time seems to fly by so incredibly fast.
Secondly, this blog has reached the remarkable and very humbling milestone of 30,000 visitors.....no prizes but we'd love to know who it was??.
We are always amazed by the interest shown in our lives here and are very appreciative of the many kind comments and emails that we have received. We have also been fortunate enough to meet up with many of you in person and hopefully this will continue in the future.
As we've always said, if we can help others along the way by showing the delights of Olvera and Andalucia, then we are happy to share it with all who kindly take the time to look in.
