I don't recall seeing this procession before but this evening we opened our front door on hearing the sound of a drum and flute outside.
Local children were carrying two "pasos", platforms decorated with religious icons and flowers in celebration of the "Cruces de Mayo" (Crosses of May), a festival dating back to Roman times.
The small but dedicated procession continued on its way along Calle Cruz before finishing its journey in Calle Hondon.
