Feria Artística de Talento y Estilo

After yesterday's short burst of rain, we headed up to the Patio de La Cilla, next to the castle, to watch the 1st Fair of Artistic Talent and Style. We entered the already busy patio area at just after 12.30pm and it wasn't long we were being entertained by the traditional and skilled art of pouring manzanilla sherry from a great height into a very small glass.
The show started with the youngsters, rising through the teens and beyond to those of more mature years, displaying clothing, headwear and stunning traditional Flamenco dresses.

A stunning location for a show such as this and a very appreciative audience enjoying every minute. So quite a few pictures that really need no captions. There is also a short video at the bottom of the post showing the finale and a procession by all the tremendous participants.

An absolutely brilliant first Feria with something for everyone, from the very young to the very young at heart, and a display of great style and talent by all who took part. Hopefully, this will become an annual event on the Olvera calendar.
During costume changes, we were ably entertained by the guitars, singing and dancing of a fabulous Flamenco dance group.

A short video here of all the fantastic participants parading for the finale.
