After collecting some fresh water from the spring at Algodonales this morning, I drove the short distance to the reservoir near to the pueblo of El Gastor.
Looking down upon the Chiringuito El Pantano centre of picture, a busy bar and recreation area in the summer months.
Our lakeside villa is near completion.......I wish!!.
Leaving the lakeside, I headed to the viewpoint on the road into El Gastor that offers stunning vistas across the reservoir to the pueblo of Zahara de la Sierra, here and below.
