Tomorrow celebrates our fourth year here in Olvera and incredibly our blog, started on the 26th July 2007, has 740 posts and contains over 7500 pictures showing what we've been up to and the places we've seen in this beautiful part of the world.
However, much more important is the continuing friendship and generosity of the wonderful Olvereños, whose help, support and tolerance of us "guiris" has made our lives here so much easier and enjoyable.
We will never be able to repay all that we've received but we hope that by continuing to develop our language skills, enriching ourselves further in the culture, history, music and cuisine of Spain and by showing through our pictures all that's the best of Olvera and Andalucia, this may in a small way be some recompense.
It goes without saying of course, our many thanks to everyone who has taken the time to look at our blog over the last year and beyond. We truly value your comments and the many more unpublished emails that we've received and also the friendship of everyone we've had the pleasure to meet. Health permitting, we will continue to explore this beautiful area in which we live. We are always open to suggestions for new places to visit, or to re-visit places we've been to, so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Many thanks to you both for the last four years, it has allowed those of us away from Olvera at times to follow the seasons as they go past and share in the local festivals and events, it also give us a glimps of all the lovely places that can be visited in the area.
Keep up the good work and we look forward to new places and adventures...
