On Sunday evening, Nick, Kate, Anne and I strolled down to our favourite chicken restaurant for our usual fix of delicious "Pollo Asados" (roast chicken). We had noticed on many previous visits that snails were more popular with the Spanish clientele than the chicken, so we decided to try a small portion.
The menu described them as "Cabrillas" though I have yet to translate this to English.
Kate, bless her, tried her best but couldn't quite stomach them. Nick had a go but failed miserably. Anne didn't try at all but I thought they were OK.
I expected them to be in a garlic type sauce but they were in a quite tasty spicy, salsa type sauce.
