Views from "La Cilla"

"La Cilla" is the courtyard area that in olden times was used to store the grain, fruit and crops of the community within the castle walls. It has undergone many alterations over time, even being used as a jail in the last century. Currently, it houses the town museum, tourist office and an exhibition centre for the Via Verde.
The views today are pretty good. Reasonably clear skies and temperatures up to about 12°C, a pleasant change after the recent rains.

The Peñon de Zaframagón, that hosts the largest breeding colony of Griffon Vultures in Andalucia and one of the largest in Europe.

The monument to the victims of the spanish civil war that stands in the Plaza de la Iglesia, sadly missing its descriptive plaque.
