Fuente del Algarrobo

A short trip out this morning on another beautiful day to the nearby pueblo of Algodonales to re-fill our water bottles.
When here, we normally go to the Fuente Alta but today there were quite a few people waiting to fill up so I continued on to the Fuente del Algarrobo, one of the other twelve natural spring outlets in or near to the village.

Usually, it's impossible to park nearby but today being Sunday it was very quiet. The fountain has twelve spouts, all gushing clear, fresh water.

The pretty ceramic plaque on the fountain.

Leaving Algodonales, I followed the road around the edge of the nearby reservoir of Zahara de la Sierra, always a pleasant drive, before returning to Olvera.
