We had been in touch with Geraldine, pictured here on the right, since she sent us a mail a couple of months ago, having found the blog on the internet and expressing an interest in coming to Olvera.
Many mails later we were really pleased to meet up with Geraldine and her friend Penny after they had decided to pay a short visit to look at the town and the area with a view to possibly settling here.
Geraldine had previously spent time in Seville teaching english, so was not unfamiliar with Spain, the language and the lifestyle.
We spent a really pleasant couple of hours at Bar Pepe Rayas chatting away about our experiences here, hopefully giving Geraldine a good feeling about Olvera and the smashing friends that we have made here. Hopefully, we'll meet up again in the not too distant future.
