Today we had high hopes of a thunder storm to break the heat and humidity of the last couple of weeks.
I'm loathe to say it as part of why we're here is the sun but it we need a storm to clear the air and drop the temperature a little.
These are just a few pics , taken about 4.30pm, of the gathering clouds which threatened rain and a cooling breeze but in the end, despite the thunder all around us produced hardly a drop.
So here we are, continuing to suffer in the humidity and the heat, in temperatures of 30 plus degrees, walking in the shadows and not sleeping at night.
But hey, at least the vino tinto is chilled.....!!
