End of term

Today's was the last session of our Spanish classes at the Adult Education Centre due to half term.
For Estibaliz, our long suffering tutor pictured here with her husband, it will probably be a welcome break after eight and a half months of endeavouring to teach us.

So today, rather than have a formal class, we all gathered in true spanish style for "desayuno" (breakfast) at the Piscina (swimming pool).
Prior to this though, Estibaliz was presented with some gifts of appreciation for her efforts, to which all had contributed.

We walked the short distance to the piscina and ordered churro, a lightly fried pastry type dough, quite salty, which can be eaten on it's own or as some prefer dipped into a chocolate drink.

As a footnote, and with many thanks to all who have registered, the class will reconvene in October after the summer break. Hopefully you will join us then.
