Ronda with Nick and Claire

A beautiful day for the forty five minute journey south to show Nick and Claire the beautiful city of Ronda. Arriving at about 11am, we parked the car and headed down the famous "Carrera de Espinel", more popularly known as " La bola" street, a long pedestrianized area full of enticing shops.
 Claire found one immediately.
A pleasant breakfast at one of the many cafes before heading for the sites.
The views from the walkway that follows the edge of the Tajo gorge are stunning.

The "Punte Nuevo" bridge spans the deep gorge. More information on this and other points of interest can be found in the link here.

Anne's favourite craft shop just across the bridge in the old town.
The old part of town is a beautiful area of shaded plaza's, historic buildings, flamenco playing guitarrists and pleasant cafe's in which to watch the world pass by.

Me, taking a picture of you taking a picture of a lovely couple.
We finished our visit with lunch on the terrace of one of the hotels that overlook the gorge.
