The Via Verde - Green Way

It was a lovely sunny, lazy Sunday morning so we decided to go for a walk along the Via Verde, a former disused railway track that starts from Olvera and runs 36km west to Puerto Serrano.
The picture above is of the former railway station which has now been converted into a restaurant and hotel.
The picture below is of the first or last, depending on which end of the route you start at, of twenty four tunnels along the route.

We managed only 6kms in total but next time we will hire bikes at the station and go a bit farther.
A special hello to Les, Mandy, Jordan and family who came on line just after we returned to the house. Great to see you again Les. Love to you all.
