Gran espectáculo pirotécnico

Yesterday was the final night of the Fiera, due to end at three in the morning with a grand firework display. Anne, Ginny and I walked down at 11 o'clock to watch a group called "La Decada" (pictured above) perform at the Caseta Municipal, due to start at midnight.
We duly arrived, after stopping for a bite to eat, at a packed Caseta and were lucky to find just a few of the last seats available.
The support act were just concluding their performance but it wasn't too long before La Decada came on stage.
Unfortunately, although entertaining, the band were not to our musical taste so after about an hour we left to wander around the Feria and take in the sights.

We bumped into Sergio, a fellow student learning English at the centre where we attempt to learn Spanish, and his wife.

The time was approaching 02.30 when we met up with our neighbours Barbara and Bartholomew and their daughter Ana who guided us to the area at the edge of the Feria where we would get the best view of the fireworks...........right underneath them!!.

And what a spectacular display it was, right above our heads. The following pictures are just a few of the images captured.

A fantastic end to a great Feria, eventually arriving home at four in the morning. Now where's my bed...........!!
