Last night saw the re-opening of the Pepe Rayas bar under the stewardship of Graham and Tetricia. Previously known as the Tartan Bar, it is ideally situated in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento with views up to the church and the castle and in a prime location to attract the many tourists who visit Olvera.
It was a lovely, warm evening and the tables outside were full but we managed to grab a couple of chairs and sat with our friends Mike and Elaine.
Graham and Tetricia laid on a welcoming drink on arrival and free tapas were available throughout the evening.
It must have been a good night as we didn't get home until three in the morning. So much for our plans to get up early and paint the terrace !!.
So we wish Graham and Tetricia every success for the future in their new venture.
