Today is the fourth running of the Via Verde half marathon between the "Estación de Coripe" and Olvera, a distance of approximately 22 kms.
The Via Verde (Green Way) is a 36 km length of disused railway line winding through beautiful countryside from Puert Serrano in the west to Olvera.
The race started at 10.30 so we decided to nip down to the finish line to watch the runner's past the finishing post.

This chap I think is dressed in a vulture outfit and was giving a cheer and congratulations to all the runners at the finish line.
