We walked down at 9pm last night to the Residencia Escolar Nuestra Señora de los Remedios to watch a procession that we think this was a new addition to the Holy Week processions, certainly one we hadn't seen before.
The participants were dressed informally, though this did not detract in any way from the sombreness of the occasion, and they walked in total silence through the streets of Olvera accompanied by a large number of onlookers.
Hopefully, this event will become a regular feature in future Holy Week processions.
