Howling winds and driving rain on Friday night/Saturday morning caused some damage to property in Olvera and, as is usual in such weather conditions, disrupted our internet connection until late this afternoon.
So a mix of pics taken over the weekend to catch up with whats been happening.
Perhaps the main news is that the strong wind blew the face of the Church clock from its setting, leaving just the hands to tell the time.
I walked up to have a look but apart from some fallen masonry no evidence remained and the area had been cordoned off by the police.
This umbrella stood no chance against the conditions.
On Vereda Ancha.
This picture taken on Friday afternoon with the clock intact, a few hours before the storm struck.
