A day of two halves

Today started out quite nicely....some cloud though reasonably warm at about 27°C. So, while Anne was busy in the house I had a stroll around, ending up at the park area being created on the Peñon del Cerretillo.

Hopefully it won't be too long before the park is fully open with the entrance from Calle Victoria being completed, although at the moment work seems to have come to a halt. There is also a fair amount of litter and rubbish to be removed.
When completed, it will be a lovely area to sit and look at the tremendous views.

However, at about six this evening the storm clouds had gathered and the rain came down, at times quite heavily.
These pics taken from the roof terrace.

The forecast is for much of the same through until Thursday when hopefully things will improve just in time for the arrival of my sister Ange and sister-in-law Ginny.
