Bus timetable Olvera - Ronda

Thanks to our friend Ian for bringing to our attention a link to a timetable of bus services from Olvera to Ronda that we're sure will be of use to residents and visitor's alike. The service leaves Olvera at 07.00 and returns at 15.15. The timetable is posted below with a permanent link in the "Public transport links" section in the right hand column of our blog.

Olvera - Seville bus timetable 2013

With thanks to our friend Nick Alatti for providing the information, below is a current timetable for journey's between Olvera and Seville that may be of interest to our readers who wish to visit one of the most beautiful cities in Spain without the headache of finding car parking space. Please note that "invierno" is winter and "verano" is summer.

It seems that the websites for the bus companies published in a previous posting are less than reliable, if not totally useless, in trying to find out what services are provided to and from Olvera.

So a walk this morning to the bus station in the hope of finding more reliable information. Posted on the wall is a list of operators, timings and destinations that we hope will be a more reliable guide. Why don't the bus companies put this information on their websites!!!.

Hoping that it may be of use for visitors to Olvera who do not have private transport or who prefer not to hire a vehicle, we have placed a permanent label headed " Public transport links" in the right hand column of our blog.
It lists websites for bus companies and the state railway service as follows:

RENFE - An easy to follow website in English for the rail service. Please bear in mind that the nearest railway station to Olvera is Almargen - Cañete la Real.



T.G.Comes and Los Amarillos - Two bus companies that serve Olvera. Both websites are not particularly user friendly although T.G.Comes does have an English language option. With a little perseverance and by following the ticket purchasing procedure, times of buses to and from Olvera can be found. We should stress however that destinations are limited.
