The 1st Trade Fair aimed at promoting local business and trades was opened this afternoon by the town Mayor José Luis del Rio Cabrera. The fair is open over the coming weekend with great deals and discounts on offer and free entertaimnent in the evenings (see the schedule here but please note that Mantis are playing today (Friday) at 7pm and NOT Sunday as stated).

The variety of different displays from the thirty seven businesses represented were designed to show visitors that Olvera has much to offer in the way of commercial and leisure opportunities and also how important it is in these harsh economic times to support local business by encouraging people to spend their hard earned euros within the town.
