On a day of protests and strikes throughout Spain against the austerity measures being imposed by the government, Olvera was very quiet this morning with lots of shops, banks and businesses closed in support.
Temperatures though remain very mild at about 16°C and forecast to remain the same for the next few days. Here, sitting in the Plaza de la Concordia.
Looking north down Calle Gongora towards Pruna castle.
Avenida Julian Besteiro here and below.
South to the Sierra de Grazalema.
The leaning trees of Bellavista.
The view north from Calle Bellavista, the land starting to turn green again after the recent rains.
Calle Mercado.
A warm welcome home from Anne on our roof terrace.......or did I hear "I told you to take a key. Now I've got to come all the way down to let you in!".
A few pictures taken on our walk this afternoon,
Calle Salada and below the old water trough at the end of the street.
On Vereda Ancha.
