Wow. What a night. We went with our friends Dan and Alison to the Bar Zona Libre in town to watch Spain win the World Cup Final after a hard fought match with Holland.
The bar erupted when Andrés Iniesta of Spain scored the only goal of the match in extra time and the final whistle was the signal for the party to begin.
We walked the short distance to the Plaza de la Concordia to join the mass of people already gathered, celebrating the victory in the fountain. Fireworks were exploding and car horns blaring as everyone joined in the celebrations.
So quite a few pictures of the fantastic people of Olvera having fun on a brilliant night for Spain.

OMG, what fun! We were cheering Spain on to victory, too, and wishing we could have been there for the celebration.
