The fruits and flowers of winter

An overcast day, 12.5°C as we went for a stroll this afternoon.

The view looking across the municipal cemetery from Calle Pañolillas.
Looking at Pruna castle in the distance.

The mild temperatures that we've had so far this winter may be contributing to the length of time that flowers are in bloom. Here, the geraniums that always prettily decorate the wall of the Zamudio shop on Calle Bellavista.
Oranges and bougainvillea.
Here, a beautiful "Bird of Paradise" (Strelitzia) flower in bloom, also on Bellavista.

A lovely rose brightens a dull day.
