Yesterday, it was back to normal for the water collection from the cortijo just outside of Olvera.The last time we came, a couple of months ago, there was a notice saying the water was contaminated but all appears OK now.
Since then, we have been going to the spring at Algodonales or any other that we came across on our travels.
The outside of the farmhouse is decorated with flowers.
It was good to be back to normal as apart from the fresh spring water the views from here are as always beautiful.
The fields of poppies haven't been as prominent as in previous years, possibly to do with the the heavy rains and flooding that we had over last winter.
The ones that remain are sadly starting to go over now. Never mind, always next year to look forward to.
