After walking down town to our second home, the bank, stopping off at the Tabac as we usually
do to talk to a lovely lady called Maricarmen who loves to practise her english, we sat for a while in the Plaza de la Concordia watching the maintenance work being done on the fountain.

The temperature at 11am was about 28°C and rising.

For a change, we walked home along Calle de San Juan Bosco, passing this lovely boxer dog taking an early siesta in the window of a house.
August is a fairly busy month with my sister visiting, a Fiesta of horses and Flamenco taking place on the Vereda Ancha on the 15th, the Feria starting on the 27th and a series of classical guitar concerts starting tonight at the Casa de la Cultura. We're hoping to attend at least a couple of the concerts.
