The final event of Carnaval week is the procession of all participants, starting from the Plaza Ayuntamiento and culminating in a prize giving ceremony at the Polideportivo (indoor sports centre).
The weather was again overcast with a light drizzle but this did not put anyone off.
Pictured right is the Carnaval Queen for 2009 and her attendant.
So, quite a few pictures of the event and of these lovely people, mainly youngsters, who despite the weather were determined to make the effort and put on a show.

As we were walking home, we were met (I think) by our neighbours, Carmen, Monica and their family.
