Blue skies.....

....and warm sunshine continues. Here looking to the west.

North to Pruna castle and beyond the mountain of "El Terril", the highest peak in the province of Seville at 1129 metres above sea level.

Notices near to the Casa de la Cultura warn of no parking due to the pruning and collection of the orange trees.

A pleasant breeze blows the flags of Spain and Andalucia near to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

Out into the campo

A deviation from our normal walk this afternoon, taking the Vereda del Pozuelo road out of Olvera onto one of the many "caminos" that leads into the nearby campo. The good weather continues with a temperature I would estimate at about 20°C.

 Not far along the track we came upon this beautiful Mastine dog and nearby presumably his adorable puppies. Often used as guard dogs, when not on duty they are truly the gentle giants of the dog world and have such a friendly manner.

 Head down and onwards we go.

 The track ended at the main Olvera to El Gastor road on the edge of town near to the I.E.S.Zaframagón school. 

We headed back along Avenida Manuel de Falla, after a very pleasant walk, to Bar La Jarrita in the Plaza de la Concordia for a cool beer (or two).

Ten degrees........

 .....was the difference between the electronic temperature gauges we passed this afternoon, the one in full sun at the Azulgrescon shop on Calle Bellavista reading 23°C and the other in the shade of Calle Llana saying 13.5°C. So I guess that somewhere in between at 18°C would be about right. 

Another lovely, warm day though.

Always nice is the display of geraniums near to the Zamudio shop on Bellavista which will no doubt get better as spring approaches.

A stroll along the Green Way

Another lovely day with a temperature of about 17°C, perfect for a stroll along the Via Verde, a leisure area for walkers, cyclists and horse riders using a disused railway track near to Olvera.

Before starting our stroll, we stopped on the Olvera to Pruna road to take a few pictures overlooking the old railway station site at the Olvera end of the Via Verde that offers a restaurant, accommodation, cycle hire and facilities for motorhomes. The nearby equestrian centre "Centro Ecuestre Platero" also offers horse trekking expeditions along the Green Way.

Today we had the route more or less to ourselves.
