On our travels again today. This time to El Bosque, a town of approximately 1800 people on the edge of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, about an hours drive southwest of Olvera.
We had passed El Bosque a couple of months ago on our way to the village of Benamahoma to see the re-enactment of the Moors and Christian battles, stopping briefly on the outskirts of town at the picturesque waterfall pictured above.

We parked the car near to the Plaza de la Constitucion with its pretty Ayuntamiento (Town Hall) and sat down for a coffee at one of several cafés around the square.

Leading off the Plaza were several narrow streets with many bars and restaurants.
The Plaza San Antonio.
There were lots of decorative flower arrangements and colourful window boxes - far more than we had seen on visits to other towns and villages.
One of the most decorated houses that we saw.
A religious image set into the wall of the Posada San Antonio, a small restaurant/hotel near to the Plaza San Antonio.

We really liked El Bosque. It is obviously a town where the community take a pride in its appearance........and it shows.
Definately worth a visit.
