Looking up to the Monumento al Sagrado Corazón (Statue of the Sacred Heart) and the illuminated sign ready to welcome a hopefully more prosperous 2012, in particular for our friends and individuals here in Olvera and generally for the spanish economy.

The steps leading up to the park and the pipework underneath are undergoing repairs.
The planters in Calle Llana have been filled with traditional Christmas poinsettias.
The work on re-paving the Plaza del Ayuntamiento is almost complete.
